Patience!

Patience. I'm learning to have patience when I'm trying to make a reservation online. I keep thinking I can make one via phone, but I can't because no one is answering the phone!

In the last 24 hours, I've called and been disconnected by Lexus. I got through four days later.

While making some changes on a reservation on Southwest Airlines I had to leave a call back number to resolve an issue. My mistake. I got a call 40 minutes later and the Southwest Airlines associate went above and beyond to help me. Problem solved. Thank you!

I attempted to change a flight on American Airlines and had to have someone call me back. It only took four hours. The phone rang at 11pm. $121 dollars later my flight was changed. I'm also being charged $28 dollars five times, the five times I attempted to change the flight for $28.00. Four hours later it went from $28 to $121! I haven't gotten a refund because no one answers my email or phone call. I'm already paying $93 dollars more for the flight.

I want my money back!

Also, I've been on hold as "number two on the cue" for 30 minutes, and number one on cue for 10 minutes for another reservation.

Patience, Estela!

As I write this blog I am reciting the Serenity Prayer.

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
